Think bright colors, bold patterns, and Hawaiian shirts. Bring the energy and embrace the theme. The foursome that best represents Tropical Disco will receive a prize at the end of the tournament.

Mentorship is a must-have in todayโs workplace. It creates a supportive space to discuss career goals, build technical skills, and strengthen essential professional abilities such as communication, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork. It also helps preserve and pass along valuable industry knowledge and experience.
Learn about the structure of our program, get paired with your mentor, and gain valuable tools to make your mentorship experience successful.

Meet the Generals
Join us for an interactive networking event in partnership with the Women’s Construction Coalition (WCC). This event is designed to strengthen relationships between General Contractors and Subcontractors while highlighting the collaborative culture of ABCSD.
This event will feature a structured, speed-dating-style networking format, allowing subcontractors and general contractors to connect through focused, meaningful conversations.
The structured speed-networking portion of this event, from 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM, is intended for subcontractors only. All are welcome to join us beginning at 12:45 PM for lunch and open forum networking through 2:00 PM.
Schedule:
11:00 AM – 11:15 AM: Arrival & Opening Remarks
11:15 AM – 12:45 PM: Speed Networking – SUBCONTRACTORS ONLY
12:45 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch & Open Networking – OPEN TO EVERYONE
What to expect:
- 8โ10 General Contractors serving as rotating discussion leaders
- Small-group conversations with approximately 10 participants per GC
- 8โ9 timed rotations to maximize exposure and relationship-building
- A dedicated block for intentional networking following the structured sessions
Each rotation will focus on:
- How GCs and subcontractors can build stronger working relationships
- What GCs look for in trusted trade partners
- How collaboration supports quality, safety, and project success
- Ways ABCSD culture supports long-term industry growth
