Developed by experienced contractors and Kirk Alter, a nationally recognized subject matter expert with decades of project management experience, this course is designed specifically to meet the needs of today’s contractors.

This highly interactive rapid paced course focuses on project management essentials using real and relevant examples and case studies. Participants will obtain the management tools and skills needed for individual success and a positive impact to their organization while gaining a comprehensive understanding of successfully handling all aspects of project management.

This program is 80 hours of instruction in two non-concurrent 40-hour sessions with an interim period between classes for applied assignments and reporting. Classes are in session from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. and include a welcome dinner and a closing graduation banquet. Class size is limited to 24 participants to provide an interactive experience and to allow the instructor to be fully available to the attendees.

About The Course

The ABC Project Management Institute is 80 hours of instruction in two non-concurrent 40-hour sessions with an interim period between classes for applied assignments and reporting. This intensive management education program is held across the nation at ABC Chapters by Kirk Alter. Classes are in session from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. with a welcoming dinner and reception on Monday evening and a closing graduation banquet at the end of the course. Class size is limited to provide an interactive experience and to allow the faculty to be fully available to the attendees.

Course Information

The ABC Project Management Institute was designed by and specifically for today’s contractors. Owners, project managers, estimators, and any employee involved in managing projects are recommended to attend.  Refer to the following on why it is beneficial to attend these courses:

Course Material

While all written course materials and manuals are provided, attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet computer for ease of reviewing the materials and assignments during the session. Attendees will be given assignments to complete in the interim between weeks 1 and 2 that are considered a part of the course curriculum. Participants choosing not to complete the interim assignments may be denied a completion certificate.

Who Should Attend?

*Participants are required to attend both weeks of the session to complete the course.

Expectations

Attendees of this course must understand that they are committing to completing the full 80 hour course.

Registrants are required to be completely disconnected from work duties and should be prepared for all homework/assignments related to the course. Make sure you or your attendee(s) are completely prepared for this commitment.

  • Registration Information

To maintain the intimate, hands-on learning environment, space is limited and most sessions sell out quickly. Only paid registrations are guaranteed.

This course is $4,600 per registrant. Registration includes instruction, course materials, student manual, attendance certificates and all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during both weeks of the session. Payment must be received before the start of the session to participate.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made up to 60 days prior to the start of the first session will be offered a refund or a transfer credit towards a future ABC Project Management Institute in 2024. All refunds are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the start of the first session (including no-shows) cannot be refunded or transferred, no exceptions.

Registrants who have attended the first session but are unable to attend the second session will forfeit their space and registration fee. ABC reserves the right to cancel programs with low enrollment up to 30 days prior to the course start date.
