Upcoming Webinars and Seminars

Tuesday, January 13, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Join us for a focused, one-hour briefing on the latest updates impacting Prevailing Wage requirements and Skilled and Trained Workforce (STW) compliance in California. With several new legislative changes taking effect — including the significant additions under AB 889 — it’s essential for contractors, subcontractors, and compliance professionals to understand what’s changing and how it affects bidding, reporting, and day-to-day workforce management.

This webinar will break down the new requirements in clear, practical terms and outline what your company needs to do to remain compliant in 2026 and beyond.

Event Highlights:

  • Overview of recent changes to Prevailing Wage laws
  • What’s new in Skilled and Trained Workforce enforcement
  • A detailed walkthrough of AB 889 and its impact on contractors
  • Reporting expectations and documentation best practices
  • Compliance pitfalls to avoid (and how to fix them)

About the Speaker: Deborah Wilder, CCMI President, is a nationally recognized expert on the Davis-Bacon and Fair Labor Standards Acts, and state and federal prevailing wage law matters.

Wednesday, February 11, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

With CMMC enforcement approaching, contractors working on federal, military, or DoD-related projects will need to understand their obligations under Level 1 and Level 2 requirements. Many firms are behind the curve, and primes will soon begin screening subcontractors for SPRS scores and documented cybersecurity practices.

This half-day workshop is designed to give contractors a realistic starting point. Attendees will learn how to assess their current posture, calculate and submit an SPRS score, and understand the documentation needed to begin moving toward compliance. Hoop5 will walk through practical examples, common mistakes, and tools companies can use right away.

This is not a general “awareness session.” It’s a focused, working session aimed at helping participants understand what’s required and what their next steps should be.

Event Highlights:

  • How to determine whether your work involves FCI, CUI, or both
  • What Level 1 and Level 2 actually require
  • How to perform a Level 1 self-assessment and calculate your SPRS score
  • How to submit your score correctly and what primes will ask for
  • What documentation is needed for Level 2 readiness (SSP, POA&M, policies, diagrams, etc.)
  • What C3PAO auditors look for
  • How to build a realistic readiness roadmap for 2026

Presented By: Russ Emig – CISO, Anchor Cyber & Hoop5 Networks. Certified specialist in NIST SP 800-171, DFARS compliance, and CMMC Level 1 & Level 2 readiness for federal contractors.
