Apprenticeship Textbooks

Fall 2026 Semester Dates

Start: ALL TRADES: July 27, 2026

End: Electrical, EST, & Sheet Metal: December 3, 2026

End:  Plumbing & Pipefitting: December 10, 2026

The ABC San Diego Chapter Training Trust offers textbook borrowing privileges to all apprentices. It is the apprentice’s responsibility to check out textbooks on the first night of class each semester. You must have a Borrower Agreement Form on file with ABC to borrow textbooks. ABC staff will provide the form during the onboarding process.

Apprentices who are not borrowing textbooks can purchase them before the semester start date. Allow 2-3 weeks for shipping. There will be no in-house sales. Please see the links below, organized by trade, class year, and semester.

IMPORTANT: All students are required to have their textbooks by the first night of class.
